Founded in 1868, the NYCDS represents one of the largest groups of practicing dentists in the country. It is a service-focused organization, driven to meet the needs of members by serving as the preeminent information and education hub for dentistry in the county of New York.
Governed by a 26-member board, over 20 volunteer committees help to steer the course of the Society. A professional headquarters staff based in midtown Manhattan works to implement the many programs and services offered to members.
