Speaker Information: Dr. Amey Patil

Dr. Amey G. Patil is an accomplished dental professional with extensive expertise in restorative dentistry, orofacial pain, and aesthetic dentistry. After earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India, he pursued a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, USA. He has held leadership roles, including Chief Resident of the Center for Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders at Rutgers, and has further specialized through a Fellowship in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry from New York University.

In his academic career, Dr. Patil serves as an Assistant Professor at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and is the Director of General Dental Concepts at the Center for Orofacial Pain. His innovative work includes inventing the Pico-hydro-electric toothbrush, a device for energy harvesting, and his research contributions have been published internationally. He has also been a mentor and speaker at global dental conferences.

Dr. Patil’s honors include prestigious fellowships from the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. His leadership extends to professional committees and editorial boards, and he actively promotes dental education through collaborations with organizations like the University of California, San Francisco. His dedication to advancing dental care and his commitment to excellence in both clinical practice and research have made him a respected figure in the field.
