New Dentist Event: Cycling at Equinox!
NYCDS new dentist members came together for a great workout at Equinox on January 23rd. After cycling, New Dentists mingled at Park Avenue Tavern.
Demystifying Banking for New Dentists
The “Demystifying Banking for New Dentists” event with Bank of America brought new dentists together for an unforgettable night of mixing drinks and mastering lending tips. From crafting their own cocktails to learning what to look for in a lender, our members left with fresh insights—and a few new drink recipes. Cheers to learning with a twist!

Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw: How Far Have We Come?
On September 19th, Dr. Dalal Alhajji, an expert in dental oncology and a member of the NYCDS New Dentist Committee, lectured on Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (MRONJ): How Far Have We Come? Dr. Alhajji provided an overview of MRONJ – its causes, management, treatment, and prevention protocol. She shared the latest guidelines for identifying and assisting at-risk patients.
The program was hosted by the New Dentist Committee and open to all members to attend. Turnout was excellent and attendees appreciated the program.

New Dentist Pizza Party!
On August 19, the NYCDS New Dentists hosted a successful Pizza Party that brought together members for an evening of great pizza, drinks, and networking. A special thank you to MLMIC Insurance Co. for sponsoring this memorable gathering!

New Dentist Real Estate Event Raises (& Answers) Home Ownership Questions
"Buying Your First Home in NYC" in December provided insights into the unique aspects of buying real estate in Manhattan for new dentists while handling the competing demands to pay off student debt and/or having a business mortgage.
