Welcome to the New York County Dental Society
Founded in 1860, the New York County Dental Society is one of the largest groups of dentists in the United States. With more than 2,000 members practicing in Manhattan, NYCDS members have made a special commitment to uphold its ethical code and practice standards, as well as those of New York State and the American Dental Association. It is an invaluable advocacy and education resource that protects its members and the public.
Member Experience
"Time and time again NYCDS has always been able to find answers to my difficult questions. I am grateful for such a reliable and trusted source of information and professional expertise."
Lisa S. Lin, DDS
"I've been taking CE courses for over 20 years, and I've had the best experience thus far with the NY County Dental Society. It has been really easy to register for the courses and I've always been greeted by a warm and friendly staff! The knowledgeable instructors have made learning enjoyable, especially with some of the mandatory courses."
Michael Kosdon, DDS

Member Benefits Spotlight: New Tool to Easily Track ALL Your CE Credits!
Jul 29, 2024
CE Navigator can help you take control of tracking and accessing your CE credits.
Keeping track of your continuing education credits can be a challenge. Fortunately, as an NYSDA/NYCDS member, you can create and maintain a CE Navigator account to track ALL your CE credits. If you complete a course with NYCDS, NYSDA, or the NYS Dental Foundation, your CE credits will be added to your account, but you have the ability to record credits for courses taken elsewhere.
This new tool to track all your CE credits is only available as a benefit to active members!
Starting September 30, 2024, all CE submissions must go through CE Navigator – fax, email, or mailed submissions will no longer be accepted.
New Highlights to Look Forward To:
In addition to having all your CE information readily accessible, CE Navigator allows you to:
Set reminders for required courses, license renewal, and more.
Pull transcripts and store CE credits.
Track your credit hours.
Receive assistance from NYSDA staff in transferring your records.
