Founded in 1860, the New York County Dental Society is one of the largest groups of dentists in the United States. With more than 2,000 members practicing in Manhattan, NYCDS members have made a special commitment to uphold its ethical code and practice standards, as well as those of New York State and the American Dental Association. Mandated Infection Control with Dr. Gwen Cohen Brown!

Lecture 1:

Infection Control and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (In-Person)

This course provides the necessary information on and documentation to fulfill the licensure/credentialing requirements mandated by the New York State Education on Department and Department of Health. Attendees learn to understand how blood borne pathogens may be transmitted in the workplace. The clinician also shows attendees how to apply infection control principles and how to minimize transmission of pathogens.
