GAO Issues Report on HHS Priority Unfulfilled Recommendations
The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) has issued a report on the unfulfilled priority recommendations made to the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). GAO found that HHS had 35 open recommendations that it should prioritize, including completing a comprehensive, national risk assessment of the potential for improper payments in the Medicaid program.
