The NYS Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) has openings available for dentists who may be interested in conducting fee arbitrations involving Workers’ Compensation dental related cases. The positions available are part-time, per diem positions, requiring approximately one to two, one-hour remote arbitration sessions per year, based upon an anticipated 25-30 disputed bills to be arbitrated. Each session will require approximately six-seven hours of preparation time. All arbitrators are paid for the day.

Requirements for the position include:

• Must be familiar with the NYS WCB system and dental fee schedule
• Must be familiar with usual and customary billing practices
• Have an active and unrestricted license
• Have had no significant disciplinary actions taken
