EHC Issues Report on Preventing HAIs
Per the notice below, the Effective Health Care (EHC) Program has issued a report on preventing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).

This review assesses the evidence comparing reusable and single-use reprocessed medical devices with single-use disposable devices. The primary focus will be on: 1) devices whose inherent purpose is HAI prevention; and 2) devices commonly used in bedside care. A secondary focus addresses surgical devices and other scopes.
