The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) has issued a dental Medicaid hearing decision holding that the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) was correct in finding that Dr. Nabil Eid Farra Samarneh and Mamaroneck Dental PLLC had engaged in unacceptable Medicaid practices, had filed false claims for services not rendered, and had made false statements in support of claims.  The hearing decision rejected the dentist’s arguments that he was denied due process.  The decision censured the dentist and the dental practice and confirmed OMIG’s monetary recovery of $145,935.10 from the dentist and dental practice.  You can read the complete NYSDOH hearing decision at the ink below.
