The New York State Board of Regents has appointed Dr. Steven Calderon as the new Executive Secretary of the New York State Board for Dentistry.  Dr. Calderon is from the Third District, but is not a member of NYSDA.  The appointment is effective as of April 8, 2025, but Dr. Calderon does not start work until May 15, 2025.  You can read the Regents appointment of Dr. Calderon here: https://www.regents.nysed.gov/sites/regents/files/425bra5.pdf.
